A Shade Above and Ian Sanderson Fabrics worked together to create a show piece for Decorex International 2016 at Syon Park. We used three modular shapes and a variety of lampshade finishes from a contemporary knife pleat to a more traditional soft gather and the smooth lines of fabric either side of PVC to show off the ‘Little Complements’ range of small scale designs. The fabric colours and eclectic range of patterns worked beautifully together in juxtaposition.
We also made some contemporary semi-circle wall lights in their stunning ‘In-prints’ range.
Details of the fabric collections from Ian Sanderson Fabrics:
Little Complements cotton prints: 6 small scale designs from traditional trailing, “Leonie” through to contemporary animal skin, “Savannah”. Perfect co-ordinating designs of stripe, geometrics and ditsy daisy in a wide palette of colours for blinds, cushions, lamp shades etc. Printed in the UK on pure cotton and finished to give a superior handle.
In-prints (as used on the wall lights ): contemporary graphic prints on brushed and plain cotton/ linen suitable for drapes and upholstery.
